At Kelvingrove Medical Centre, we believe that today’s research shapes tomorrow’s care. By taking part in safe, well-run studies, our patients help improve treatments and services for everyone. We are committed to supporting research that makes a real difference to health in our community and across the NHS.
Research At Our Practice
What is Primary Care Research?
Primary care research helps doctors and nurses learn how to improve care in GP surgeries and the wider NHS. It often involves everyday health conditions and treatments that affect people in the community. Taking part in research is always your choice.
Our Accreditation
We are proud to be a Research Ready accredited practice. This means we have met national standards to safely and effectively take part in NHS research. It shows our commitment to improving patient care through evidence and learning.
Taking Part
From time to time, you may be invited to join a research study. This might mean filling in a survey, sharing information from your records, or testing a new way of delivering care. You will always receive clear information before deciding.
