Zero Tolerance Policy

At Kelvingrove Medical Centre we believe everyone deserves to be treated with kindness and respect. Our team is here to support your health, and we ask that patients treat staff in the same way.
This page explains our zero tolerance approach to abusive or threatening behaviour, so we can maintain a safe and positive environment for all.

Respect for Staff

NHS staff have the right to work in an environment free from violence, abuse or harassment.

Unacceptable Behaviour

We have a zero tolerance policy. Any violent, threatening or abusive behaviour, including shouting or swearing, will not be tolerated.

Consequences

Patients who act in this way may be asked to leave. The police may be called, and you could be removed from our patient list.

Please Remember

Our staff are here to help you. Please treat them with courtesy and respect at all times.
