The Partnership consists of one male and three female GPs and is not a limited partnership:

Community Midwives

The midwife attached to our Practice is one of the local team of midwives who works with the doctors to guide and provide pregnancy advice and monitoring. Clinics are held twice weekly at the Practice. Please note that, at your first antenatal appointment (8-10weeks pregnant) the midwife will need to see you on your own for the first 30 minutes, to discuss issues of a personal nature.

To contact a midwife, please ring the midwifery office at Babington Hospital on 01773 525085.

Community Nurses

The Heanor Community Nurses visit the practice every day, working closely with the practice and can be contacted through reception if you need them. They are primarily available to give nursing care to patients in their homes, who are unable to attend the surgery.

Health Visitors

A health visitor is a registered nurse who has received training particularly related to babies, children and pregnant women. Their role is to provide families with children under five years old with support and advice around the general aspects of mental, physical and social wellbeing.
