Parking

There is a pay and display car park adjacent to the Surgery. The Practice has one disabled car parking space available for patients who hold a disabled parking badge.

To contact the medical service when the surgery is closed please dial 111.

Your needs will be assessed and advice offered or arrangements made for you to see a doctor.

Please do not ask to see a doctor out of hours unless you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.

Call 999 in an emergency. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.

To improve the services and access for our patients, Kelvingrove Medical Centre is now part of Amber Valley Health Ltd (AVH). AVH is made up of a group of Practices and includes the following:

Brooklyn Medical Practice (Heanor), Crich Medical Practice, Ivy Grove Surgery (Ripley), Jessop Medical Practice (Ripley/Leabrooks), Parkside Surgery (Alfreton), Park Surgery (Heanor), Somercotes Medical Centre, and in collaboration with Ripley Medical Centre.

Extended access appointments are available every weekday evening and Saturday and Sunday mornings during the following times:

• Monday to Friday - 6:15pm - 8:00pm
• Saturday and Sunday - 8:45am - 11:45am

These appointments are at the Amber Valley Health Hub at Church Farm Primary Care Centre, Steeple Drive, Ripley DE5 3TH. GPs and staff working at the Hub will be from any of the above Practices.
